So...Who Are We?
Melica A Cappella is Elizabethtown College’s all-female a cappella group. Our mission is to uplift and empower women through the undeniable power of music. We welcome students of all backgrounds, majors, and class years. Our repertoire is rooted in the pop genre, with a special focus on celebrating female artists—though we don’t limit ourselves exclusively to them.
We are passionate about using our voices for good. Throughout the year, we perform at benefit concerts to raise money for organizations such as Clare House, AT Children’s Project, the American Cancer Society, the Elle Foundation, and many more. These efforts support causes including homelessness among women and children, AT Disease, and pediatric cancer.
In addition to community performances, we proudly participate in the Intercollegiate Competition of A Cappella (ICCA). Our most recent set was performed on February 15th, 2025, at Johns Hopkins University. We are always grateful for the opportunity to share our music and showcase our talents.
This year, Melica is celebrating its 31st anniversary—and here’s to many more years of harmony, sisterhood, and song!
